गर्मियों के दिन चल रहे थे एक दिन बहुत ज्यादा गर्मी पद रही थी, गर्म सूरज ने जमीन को झुलसा दिया । एक चालाक कौआ बुरी तरह प्यास से तड़प रहा था और वह पानी की तलाश में बेताब हो गया। एक पेड़ से दूसरे पेड़ पानी की तलाश करते हुए थक चूका था ।
पानी की तलाश में भटकते हुए उसका शरीर इतना कमजोर हो गया की वह सोचने लगा अब वह जिन्दा नहीं बचने वाला । मायूस होकर वह एक पेड़ के निचे आराम करने के लिए बैठ गया ।
थोड़ी देर बैठने के बाद उसने सोचा ऐसे तो वह जिन्दा नहीं बचेगा इसलिए पानी की तलाश तो करनी पड़ेगी तभी अचानक कौवे की आँखें आखिरकार एक बगीचे के एक कोने में पड़े एक छोटे से घड़े पर गिर गईं। उत्सुकता से उसके पास पहुँचते हुए, आशा ने उसके थके हुए दिल को भर दिया क्योंकि उसने घड़े के भीतर पानी को चमकते देखा।
लेकिन एक समस्या थी घड़े में पानी बहुत कम था और उसकी चोंच पानी तक नहीं पहुँच पा रही थी बहुत कोशिश करने पर भी पानी तक नहीं पहुँचने पर वह बहुत निराश हो चुका था, लेकिन फिर उसने सोचा की निराश होने से प्यास नहीं बुझेगी मुझे कोई न कोई उपाय करना ही होगा।
चतुर कौआ अपने आस पास देखता है तो उसे कुछ कंकड़ नज़र आते हैं और तुरंत उसके दिमाग में एक उपाय कौंध जाता है और वह एक-एक करके छोटे कंकड़ अपनी चोंच से पकड़कर उस घड़े में गिरता है मिनट दर मिनट गुजरते गए क्योंकि कौवे ने पानी के स्तर को ऊपर उठाने के लिए अथक परिश्रम किया।
आखिरकार, घंटों की कड़ी मेहनत के बाद, सफलता निकट लग रही थी। पानी की सतह इसकी चोंच के ठीक नीचे तक आ गयी थी। अपनी पूरी ताकत झोंकते हुए और हताशा के अंतिम धागे को पकड़ते हुए, कौवे ने घड़े के ऊपर से कुछ कंकड़ और डाले तो तरल सोने समान कीमती बूंदें ऊपर उसकी चोंच तक आ गईं और उसके सूखे तालू से मिल गईं।
उसने धीरे धीरे अपनी चोंच में पानी भरकर अपनी प्यास बुझाई । पानी पीकर उसकी आत्मा प्रसन्न हो गयी और उसके थके हुए शरीर में नयी जान आ गयी और उस पर राहत की जैसे बौछार छा गई।
सीख
इस कौवे की बुद्धि और साधनशीलता वास्तव में उल्लेखनीय थी प्रकृति की असीम सरलता का और एक प्राणी की इच्छा शक्ति का कारनामा । पानी के बिना भी कई दिन गुजरने के बाद सभी बाधाओं के खिलाफ जीवित रहने की आस और अंतिम छनो तक हार ना मानने आग ने कौवे को नया जीवन दान दे दिया।
इस कौवे ने दृढ़ संकल्प और चतुराई के माध्यम से त्रासदी को जीत में बदल दिया। इस कहानी में एक शक्तिशाली सीख निहित है कि भयानक और नामुमकिन लगने वाले क्षणों में भी, हमेशा उम्मीद, विकल्प और अंततः जीत की संभावना होती है।

Summer days were going on, one day it was very hot, the hot sun scorched the land. A clever crow was suffering from thirst and became desperate in search of water. He was tired of searching for water from one tree to another.
While wandering in search of water, his body became so weak that he started thinking that he would not survive. Dejected, he sat down to rest under a tree.
After sitting for a while, he thought that he would not survive like this, so he would have to search for water, then suddenly the crow’s eyes finally fell on a small pot lying in a corner of a garden. Approaching it eagerly, hope filled his weary heart as he saw the water glittering within the pot.
But there was a problem, there was very little water in the pot and his beak was not able to reach the water. He was very disappointed when he could not reach the water even after trying hard, but then he thought that being disappointed will not quench his thirst. Some solution will have to be taken.
When the clever crow looks around, he sees some pebbles and immediately an idea flashes in his mind and he catches the small pebbles one by one with his beak and drops them into the pot. Hours passed by as the crow poured pebbles into the pot. Worked tirelessly to raise the level of water in the pot.
Finally, after hours of hard work, success seemed imminent. The surface of the water reached just below its beak. Using all his strength and holding on to the last thread of despair, the crow poured a few more pebbles over the top of the pot and the precious drops, like liquid gold, flowed up to his beak and met his dry palate.
He slowly quenched his thirst by filling water in his beak. After drinking the water his soul became happy and his tired body felt rejuvenated and a shower of relief fell upon him.
Moral of The Story
The intelligence and resourcefulness of this crow was truly remarkable, a feat of the infinite simplicity of nature and the willpower of a creature. After spending many hours without water, the hope of survival against all odds and not giving up till the last breath gave the crow a new life.
This crow turned tragedy into victory through determination and cleverness. There is a powerful lesson in this story that even in the most dire and impossible moments, there is always hope, options, and ultimately victory.
